🎭 TikTok have launched ‘Branded Effects’. You can team up with creators in effect house to launch your own effects!

📩 TikTok Ads launch a new Instant Page template with a ‘Contact’ button allowing you to directly open up a text, phone call or WhatsApp convo

✍️ They’ve also overhauled its community guidelines, adding new policies on AI and climate misinformation

👩‍🔬 A STEM specific feed is being tested to provide more educational content to the platform

⚽ TikTok and Major League Soccer (MLS) announced a multi-year partnership to bring exclusive content to TikTok

📈 TikTok is currently leading the App Download chart in Q1 2023

👑 A new option is rolling out so you can restart your TikTok algorithm and start seeing new videos

💰 TikTok launched ‘Series’ which allows creators to charge for exclusive content

🔑 ‘Keyword Insights’ launched in TikTok’s Creative Centre. Using it allows you to see which keywords and phrases are resonating best in TikTok ads across lots of different verticals.

🔒 TikTok partnered with Dentsu Digital on a new privacy-friendly tracking process for advertisers

🇺🇸 TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew’s was questioned for 4.5 hours by a rabid US Congressional Committee. He was even asked if TikTok accesses the home Wi-Fi network

👀 TikTok released more updates about Project Texas and Project Clover, their plan to store all data in the US and EU respectively

💙 TikTok have been selected as the Official Entertainment Partner of the Eurovision Song Contest
