TikTok has taken another step to support musicians and further cement its place as a staple in any artist’s strategy for new music releases.

They’ve launched a new #NewMusic Search Hub in app which highlights the latest tracks from popular artists.

This is great for discovering new music, but also for creators to add up and coming songs to their TikToks.

TikTok has helped launch the career of many artists and the New Music Search Hub will make it easier for users to discover new and trending music.

TikTok says that the new hub will help fans to discover the best new music before it’s heard anywhere else, but also gives exposure for emerging artists.

Eurovision has had 4.1 billion views on TikTok and was a major partner at the event with many of the artists selected to represent their countries having already established themselves on TikTok.

We can see a big shift in the way brands and musicians work together in the future to maximise exposure for both parties when launching new music on TikTok.

Not being able to use some music on TikTok as a business account can be frustrating but there are great opportunities for brands and musicians to work together.

Among other industries, TikTok is definitely disrupting the music industry and it’s exciting to see how the industry continues to adapt to these new opportunities.

Likewise how brands work with artists will be an exciting development in the coming months.
