December Social Media Calendar

*Slade Voice* It’s Christmaaaas!

Only not quite.

Firstly, it’s December!

I know social media managers everywhere are rushing around preparing and executing their Christmas strategies but as a TikTok Agency, we’re reminding you of December’s social media calendar!

The Calendar:

1st December

English Breakfast Day

Hospitality brands this one’s for you! Show your audience the best English Breakfast on your menu. A close-up of those sizzling eggs will be enough to hook anyone in.

4th December

National Sock Day

Businesses that show their offices and workers could have a field day by showing off the weirdest socks your employees wear. Set them a fun challenge and document the results!

5th December

Pigs in Blankets Day

Back to the food businesses, do you sell pigs in blankets? Showcase your best and maybe the weirdest recipes.

11th December

Christmas Jumper Day

A staple in your December social media calendar! Host a Christmas Jumper Day at work and document the best ones. Everyone loves a little competition.

WagadadDigital nailed it last year!

12th December

Green Monday

You’ve heard of Black Friday but have you heard of Green Monday?

Ecommerce brands should leverage this Green Monday as it’s known for being the last big rush of online Christmas shopping that will arrive here before the big day!

So get your campaigns and promotions on TikTok!

17th December

Super Saturday

Similar to Green Monday, Super Saturday is the last big shopping day for retailers! It marks the end of the shopping season that began on Black Friday.

Make sure to advertise your last-minute in-store sales on TikTok quickly!

21st December

Winter Solstice

It will feel quite down and gloomy for some as we’ll get the least amount of daylight hours. It depends on your brand but posting some uplifting tips for people who may struggle to wake up and focus on this day could work wonders for your engagement.

24th, 25th, 26th December

Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day

Look out for our next blog on Christmas content ideas for the whole month of December!

There’s no need to wait until Christmas Eve, Christmas Day or Boxing Day to get your Christmas content out.

Give it the longevity it requires!

31st December

New Years’ Eve

Showcase your team or brand’s new years resolutions!

It’s nice to see into the lives of the people on TikTok and what they consider important professional or personal goals.

Turning any of these ideas into TikTok ads can really assist your organic strategy!
